Shopping

First let me say that if you don’t hire a car, we offer free transportation to the local Kaufland to buy your provisions 3 times a week. If something is needed urgently, don’t worry we can probably arrange that as well.

In the village there is one shop. Situated at the village square. Close to the church. Stocks a small supply of useful things. Eggs, bread, milk and such like. Walking Distance from the villa.

To do some real shopping you must go to Botevgrad. Which is about 15 Minutes away. There is a “Kaufland” there. Which is a German Chain of large supermarkets. All food provisions can be purchased there, both local and international. The centre of the town has a large paved walking area with shops and coffee shops to enjoy. There is also a local museum that is quite interesting.

To buy small items that you might need in a hurry, Yablanitsa is about a 5 minute drive away. There you can buy all sorts of fruit and vegetables, meats, drinks and household items. There is also a weekly market held there every Friday, well worth a visit to enjoy some local colour.

Shopping Malls are plentiful in Sofia. We have the largest one in the Balkans and about ten others of various sizes. The newer ones they tend to build bigger and bigger. Sofia is about one hour’s drive away. In the malls you can find many international chain stores such as H&M, Debenems, Costa Coffee, Zara, Marks & Spencer, Pull&Bear. The web site for the Paradise Center, which is one of the largest, is http://paradise-center.com/en
